David Guetta wows fans at F1 Rocks in Valencia

Despite a late start to his performance, caused by some technical gremlins, headline act David Guetta wowed his fans at the F1 Rocks event in Valencia on Friday night. Mega producer Guetta performed at the Spanish citys Agora (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) ahead of Sundays 2011 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe.
A multi-award winning artist in his own right, with three chart-topping albums to his name, the Frenchman has also worked with a variety of pop and hip-hop artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and Madonna. Fridays event was the first time he has performed his new show in Spain.
He had to delay his appearance by an hour when a problem with his software saw him forced to return to his hotel to reboot his system. Once he was back at the venue, however, the Grammy award-winning star, dazzled fans and invited guests with two hours of nonstop dance music, topped off with smoke and firework-shooting robots.
Guetta has delivered a stunning performance that set the venue alight and was appreciated by fans and invited guests alike, said Robert Montague of F1 Rocks. We are very proud of staging such a successful event on the eve of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe. Were now looking forward to staging our next event with Jamiroquai in Monza during the Italian race weekend.
After Guettas Friday performance, the on-track action on Saturday and Sunday will be followed by the exclusive F1 Rocks The Afterparty to be held at Lumbracle Terraza, also at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Legendary DJ Seb Fontaine will provide the soundtrack at both nights.
